Cremation abroad
The administration of cremation abroad and the transportation of the ashes to Hungary.

The process of the service
The technical requirements for cremating a deceased person abroad include the presence of a crematorium in the country where the death occurred. There are countries where there are no cremation facilities at all due to religious reasons (e.g. Orthodox religious areas, Greek islands, many African countries).
If it is technically possible to perform cremation, we will look for the closest crematoriums to the place of death. Naturally, the more favorable price and shorter waiting time. Of course, our staff will also help you make the decision by prioritizing the crematorium with which we have already had contact and positive experience in the selection process.

In Hungary, it is necessary to obtain a so-called "acceptance statement," which is issued by the cemetery chosen for the funeral. This document confirms that the cemetery will provide a burial site for the deceased and will accept the body. Our company handles the full administration of obtaining the necessary permits and documents for both domestic and international transportation of the deceased.
In the event of a death abroad, a transport permit from the local competent medical officer must always be obtained, and in the event of a death resulting from a traffic accident, a permit from the police or prosecutor's office is also indispensable. In addition, it is necessary to obtain a death certificate at the place of death or at least report the death, which the authorities will provide a certificate of.
